You should know that; rarely asked questions > frequently asked questions. That’s why I want to collect some questions or solutions. Of course, these must be strange and ridiculous questions or situations. 🙂
1- The database does not match the number of query lines and the number of lines in the Power BI Export File.
If the number of rows returned when typing SELECT * in Google Big Query or another database does not match the number of rows in Export Excel (it can be XLSX or CSV) that you get from the Power BI Table, probably the Power BI table has “summarized” the numeric fields, and in GCP it has multiplied the row because it behaves like a characteristic because you don’t do SUM and Group By.
2- Power BI table content does not work with performance. What can I do?
What can I do sometimes? It is the famous word of the famous technical manager Fatih Terim. Although not as much as the manager who comes out with his courageous decisions at the most critical moments, we are also looking to find solutions at such moments.
Any situation that tries to make a row-based transaction will make the filling times of the tables go away. For this reason, it is important to fill in the table directly from the source without performing operations such as Summarize (SUM) , Count, Distinct, Average (AVG), Maximum (MAX), Minumum (MIN) in the measures on the table.
